Answering The Call

post7

We all lead, either by choice or default. Leadership is the ability to inspire and motivate yourself and others into taking positive action. Within any role, in the organization or group, it helps to understand that each person is a leader, or at least, a leader in the making. By not only helping yourself to improve as a leader but also by helping others do the same, you create the environment of self-starters, each of whom can accomplish more than they thought possible.

Great leaders think in terms of “we” instead of “you” and “I” when creating a team picture for success. While focusing less on what to say to get people to take action, leaders instead, focus on how they can “be” to embody a message that inspires others to accomplish a task, create a powerful team and/or join forces to complete a mission.

So for all the leaders out there…THANK YOU! Thank you for answering the call to step into greatness. You have dared to believe that leading people and yourself is more than just being a boss or manager it’s about creating synergy and movement in the lives of others. It’s about helping people find their success on their terms at their pace.
